ABOUT AGMARDT

Our History

AGMARDT was established by the Government in 1987 with funds of $32 million from the wind-up of the British, Christmas Island and New Zealand Phosphate Commissions. Since that time, the organisation’s funds have steadily grown to around $65 million.

AGMARDT has provided grants and funding to agribusiness sector of over $55 million since inception.
